Genmaicha vegetable soup

For example, we would like to serve you a vegetable soup that contains traditional Japanese tea.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Genmaicha Viva Sara
  • 1.4 litres of water
  • a dash of soy sauce
  • carrots, leek, bok choy, snap peas, spring onion, mushrooms
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • black pepper
  • noodles

Preparation

Brew the tea and let it steep for two and a half minutes. Meanwhile, cut the vegetables. Pour the strained tea into a saucepan. Add the vegetable stock and the chopped vegetables. Season with pepper and add a dash of soy sauce. Let the mixture simmer gently until the vegetables are tender. Add the noodles and place the lid on the pan. Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest for four minutes. Serve in decorative bowls.
