Costa Rica Fuego is a balanced and tasty coffee with a soft body and pronounced sweetness. Clear notes of chocolate, almond and caramel emerge in the cup, which provides a warm and accessible coffee experience.

This coffee comes from the Tarrazú region, one of the most renowned coffee regions of Costa Rica. The combination of altitude, climate and craftsmanship of producer Don Luis Campos creates a coffee with a pure and balanced character.

The washed processing gives the coffee a clean profile that brings out the natural flavors beautifully. This makes it ideal for those who love a classic, soft and full-bodied coffee.

Cordillera de Fuego, led by Don Luis Campos, is one of the innovative micro mills in Costa Rica. Since the 1980s, efforts have been made to improve quality and experiment with different processing methods.

This specific coffee is produced in the Tarrazú region, where the combination of altitude and climate ensures a slow ripening of the coffee cherries.

The washed processing completely removes the pulp before drying, creating a pure and transparent cup in which the typical characteristics of the terroir clearly emerge.

Costa Rica is known as one of the most progressive coffee producing countries in the world. Although production is smaller than in neighboring countries, the emphasis is strong on quality, innovation and traceability.
